Second thoughts: At risk for STI only if partner has the STI. Regardless of that, there are billions of bacteria coming down into the anal-rectal area all day long... such as E. coli, Klebsiella, and all sorts of other species. Scientists say there are more bacteria in the intestinal tract than there are human cells in our entire body (we are outnumbered). To stay safe, an anus should be reserved for just pooping.

You need to see a Dr and get tested for STD including herpes, HIV, Syph and gonorrhea. He or she should also be checked.

Also be on the lookout for discharge from your penis, i.e. mucus or pus, perhaps showing by as underwear stains. Get medical care ASAP. Your partner also should be checked for STDs.
