I am 64 female was on zartan 50mg for 3 weeks - tablets finished - can i change to exforge 10mg?

Not equivalent: Zartan 50 contains losartan 50 mg and Exforte 10 has amlodipine and Valsartan 160 mg. The equivalent dose of losartan 50 is only 80 of Valsartan, so not only would you be taking a double dose of the "sartan" med, but you would also be adding amlodipine, which is also used for hypertension. If you are under doctor's care, monitor your blood pressure and follow up closely.
