A member asked:

Have a rash in the groin area?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many possibilities..: Rashes can be from many causes, such as: allergic reactions to various things (such as parts of sports equipment), hives, fungal skin infections, viral or bacterial infections, medication causes, heat rashes, reactions to creams or lotions, internal problems (such as kidney disease, auto-immune disease), etc... That means a rash that persists or is worrisome should be checked by a doctor.
