A member asked:

Would you repair all rotator cuffs if they were symptomatic, if not, why? won't they all possibly deteriorate to an inoperable state? sooner better?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Not necessarily. Prior to considering surgery an initial trial of medication, therapy, and possibly steroid injection could alleviate the pain and help heal rotator cuff tears.
