A doctor has provided 1 answer

CREST: Calcification in the skin may be from old injury, but can also be part of an autoimmune disorder like CREST or dermatomyositis but the latter generally doesn't occur in the neck but in muscles of the arms and legs. To see if you have other features of CREST syndrome, your rheumatologist is best qualified to study and advise you.
