Dosulepin: Dosulepin is a tricyclic antidepressant while clonazepam is a long acting tranquilizer. Tricyclic antidepressants have fallen somewhat out of favor because of an unfavorable side effect profile.This may be one reason your physician wants to taper you off it or he/she doesn't think you need it anymore. He/she can advise you best,however.
