It depends: It depends on several factors as follows. Have you completed your childbearing? How many fibroids are present? Are you anemic? Do you want to retain your uterus? Can you tolerate failure of this treatment method and willingness to consider other Rs.'s at that point? As you can see, a "good plan" is one that takes into account the patient's physical condition, wishes MD skill set.
