Several possiblities: 1. Infection gone, but battlefield (lungs) still scarred - inflammation from pneumonia can take weeks longer to resolve, especially if fevers are only subjective (not confirmed > 100.4 by thermometer. 2. Partially treated infection - Doxy is not the drug of choice for some pneumonias, so your infection may be reduced but not gone 3. Other cause - F/u with ur Dr or see an ID specialist
