A member asked:

I am experiencing abdominal pain (generalized) (worsened by: after meal) (severity: mild) (quality: sensation of tearing pain) . the following also describes me: side pain. what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, appendix, large intestine, abdominal muscles, kidneys, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen can be due to gallstones. Pain in the right lower abdomen can be appendicitis. Stomach flu, food poisoning, other infections, etc., can also cause pain.
