Depends on severity: A person with an intense headache with flu-like symptoms could be expected or could be worrisome, depending on severity. Influenza does cause lots of body aches and head aches. However, a sick person with a really intense headache may have a type of meningitis (inflammation or infection in the fluids and linings of the brain). A doctor's evaluation is needed to decide on treatment.
