Otitis externa?: The information you provided of ear pain, difficulty eating because of left side pain and pain with moving the ear is mostly consistent with otitis externa, an infection of the ear canal. Usual culprits include chronic dermatitis or swimming (e.g. swimmer's ear). Whatever the case, a short visit at an urgent care clinic should be able to determine the cause and provide ear drops (abx + steroid)
