Pregnant: HCG levels: HCG levels increase markedly with pregnancy, but any "increase" in early pregnancy implies a viable pregnancy. If it does not increase significantly in the next week, the pregnancy may not continue. Ask your provider for a repeat test. An ultrasound exam should provide an answer about this pregnancy.
