Rule out antibiotics: The mucus suggests coliitis. Are you taking antibiotics? If so you would be at risk for c diff colitis which needs specific treatment. if you have no fever, have no crampy pains, and are generally ok taking plenty of fluids and immodium you should be okay but do not hesitate to seek medical advice if things get worse.
