What treating?: An important rule in medicine is to treat the patient not the lab result. I would want to know what are the signs of infection that you have. What tests have been done so far? What type of pain and where exactly you are hurting? A detailed history and physical should be done. Consider getting a 2nd opinion if your current obgyn as “given up"
