I was prescriped flagyl for vaginal infection but didn't work so i went to another gyno who prescriped amrizole rectal supp.i found that both are metronidazole. does that mean it won't work too?

Metronidazole for BV: Most likely the docs were trying to treat Bacterial vaginosis (BV) - although if the metronidazole is not working, you may need to have this diagnosis re-evaluated. There is another medicine that might work- clindamycin -if this truly is BV. There are creams and gels in addition to pills that contain these antibiotics. Hopefully you can get some relief.
