Pain in Heel: As a diabetic, I would contact a Podiatrist immediately and get evaluated. May be a cyst, but may also be a foreign body. Depending on how much sensation you have on the bottom of your feet, you could have stepped on something and not realized. If it's a cyst, aspiration or excision in the usual course of action. If it's a foreign body, excision is needed with possible antibiotics. Hope this helps
