A member asked:

Went to gyn to show a fleshcolored bumb in outer labia that i had at least 6 mths. she said it just a mole or sth like that, not std. would i.e. hpv been recognized just by visual exam? she also said that the bumb does not require any treatment

Yes & yes: After appearing as a small bump the HPV wart strains blossom into a multi-lobed structure that resembles a cauliflower. Six months is long enough for it to change into such a pattern. If you want it off it can be frozen, lasered or burned off with chemicals. It is likely not worth the discomfort.
