If you cook it: It is common and safe if you actually cook the raw meat. You can use a wok and call it stir fry. Where you can get in trouble is cutting raw meat on a cutting board, then cutting vegetables on the same board without thoroughly cleaning it and serving those veggies raw or in a salad.
