Salivary gland?: In the case of salivary gland, if they (bilaterally) are under your jaw, they are submandibular glands. If they are under your tongue, they are sublingual glands. Are you referring to salivary glands or lymph nodes where the swelling in the submandibular area may indicated lymphadenopathy and infection?
