Late Bcp start: During the three weeks before again starting a "new pack" of bcp's, ovulation has probably occurred. Taking the pill will not stop this process unless started at the time of your last period onset. The spotting mentioned is not an indication that pregnancy has not occurred. Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain you are not pregnant.
