Drug thrombcytopeni: ikely both. we know about the active ingredient causing thrombocytopenia i.e. Bactrim- G6 PD def , less is known about inactive ingredients as the population is so varied as is the inactive components so it is hard to monitor. If you are allergic to something like corn, lactose, iodine please check all product label, active and inactive. Particle size can be cause in IV products. f/u doc
