A member asked:

My daughter has evenly spaced flat white dots around both her areolas. they seemed to appear over the last few days. i am worried....

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Montgomery glands: The periphery of the areola is populated with small glands thought to play a role in breast feeding/breast health. They are under hormonal influence and may seem prominent at times. Since they are normal structures I see no reason to worry, but you can bring the issue up with the kids doc at her next visit.
