Nerve-related: Numbness is typically caused by one of the nerve disorders. If it is really significant then it may spread to involve other nerves. On the other hand it might be something temporary and will go away in a few weeks. Keep an eye and record its location and extent, in your diary. Make weekly recordings for the next couple of months. If it gets worse(further loss of sensation) get a med-check up.
