A member asked:

Who - what kind of doctor - should i see regarding removing a genital wart? id rather not go to my gp...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dermatologist: A dermatologist can take care of genital warts. A gynecologist or a urologist should also be able to take care of genital warts. The HPV vaccine (Gardasil-9) can prevent genital warts but does not remove them once they are established. A patient can ask his doctor to see if he is eligible for the vaccine. Condoms help prevent genital warts.
