my dr said i have staph when i was worried it was herpes. she didnt swab it. said to use bactroban cream. and use on pubic region too. how long 2heal?

If it works: the infection should improve in about 3-5 days. Go back to see her if there has been no response. If the lesions are itchy, they are unlikely to be from staph infection however. Even if the infection has been controlled, the lesion may take a couple more weeks to fade away.
