A member asked:

I have a 17mm cyst on my right ovary bent over pain what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Go toER: Typically a 17mm cyst is not large enough to cause significant pain unless it ruptures over a blood vessel causing internal bleeding or it causes the ovary to twist on itself (again unlikely but not impossible). The appendix is also near the right ovary. It is impossible to tell what is going on without more tests. Go to the ER if pain is severe.
