Depends on size: ovarian cysts vary in size and complexity. Many smaller cysts disappear spontaneously and larger ones may cause pelvic discomfort. Get an ultrasound and a GYN consultation.

Ovarian cyst: Many ovarian cysts are normal and don't have any impact; in fact they are part of normal ovulation. Obviously some cysts are abnormal, depending on how big, their appearance, and how long they've been on your ovary. You could submit that information (if you know) for an online opinion, or talk with your regular doc at home. good wishes.
