A year ago i fell and broke every bone in my face which was repaired with screws which are now working their way out through my mouth..is this normal?

Screws: it can happen. usually a surgeon takes them out when it does. You should follow up with the surgeon who did the surgery a year ago for an evaluation and to make sure it isn't something else.
