I had a uterine polyp removed on jan 16th, my period came on jan 19th and lasted a week. i am now on cycle day 29 and have been having menstrual cramps for a week with negative pregnancy tests. where is my period?

Monitor: Since you just recently had surgery in the endometrial cavity some cycle disruption is expected. If your last period was 30 days ago then you may want to give it a few days before hitting the panic alarm. If you continue to have irregular periods over the next few cycles consider seeing your Obgyn for evaluation

Call surgeon: Menstrual cycles can be disrupted and temporarily irregular after the body is in stress, such as after surgery on the uterus. However if pain is severe, this could indicate infection or other issue related to recent procedure and your surgeon should be notified.
