My 3mnth 3week old baby has flu like symptoms, closed chest, a bit of a cough and little sleep, should u take him ti the er?

Talk with his doctor: His doctor may or may not recommend an ER trip. A 3 to 4 month-old baby is pretty young, so should be seen by his doctor to see what severity the cough is. "Closed chest" means different things to different people. If no serious problem is found, the baby may return home and be watched by his parents, but it is hard to assess a young baby's breathing without an exam.
