i have type 2 diabetese currenly on metformin 1500mg daily. i have really bad cold and cough what meds can i take ?? tylenol is safe??

Yes: Tylenol is safe at a dose of less than 4 grams/day.
If you take any other medications, check the contents to see if it has acetaminophen in it. The total dose of acetaminophen (Tylenol) should stay below 4 gms.
