1 am a 40 year old female and my hair falls alot when i wash it. my scalp also gets oily soon after washing it. i wash my hair twice a week.

Hair loss: Hair loss may not be abnormal, but if it is associated with significant thinning of scalp hair, a dermatologist can evaluate you and determine if the hair loss is pathologic or permanent. Thyroid and other tests may be ordered. If no pathology is found, visit a skilled beautician who will critique your hair status and care and advise you on how to care for your particular hair properly.
