A member asked:

Granddaughter 4, had influenza a, twice . just wondering if that will give any immunity to influenza b? also what is the chance she gets the flu again

Immunity unlikely: Flu strains are as different as kids dressing up at Halloween. The immunity built to one strain may have some benefit when encountering another, but not in a predictable way. Depending on exposures, you could get flu of any strain every month or two.
