Blocked sinuses, head ache, sore throat, sore chest, green phlegm, hot cold flushes. am wondering if there is anything i can take while breastfeeding?

Conservative: Probably you have sinusitis. It is caused by viral illness, and antibiotics does not do much for the disease at its beginning. We tend to prescribe them if symptoms continue for 2 weeks or more. Take paracetamol for pain, rest, fluid and try to use Sinus rinse to clean the nose and sinuses and reduce the pressure on the head. You can get it over the counter from pharmacies.

Viral infection : It could be viral upper respiratory infection or sinusitis . Try pain relief , nasal decongestant and rest . If not improving then see doctor, might need antibiotics .
