Use fingers: Reach in and touch the end of the vagina, then the front and back of the vagina, and then the left and right sides. The only thing in there in a normal woman is the soft-rubbery smooth round thing... the cervix. Anything else is not naturally there. If unable to reach, a woman can just ask her husband to check with his fingers, which can reach much farther because of a better hand angle.
