NGU: You have nongonoccal urethritis (NGU). About a third of NGU cases are due to chlamydia, but the cause is unknown in over half of all cases. It's an STD and needs antibiotic treatment despite the negative lab tests. Your sex partner(s) may need treatment as well. If your doctor doesn't seem to understand all this, find one who understands STDs, e.g. health department or Planned Parenthood clinic.
