Clomid use: Clomid is designated for use in indicated anovulatory patients to induce ovulation. It is generally given for 6 cycles before a break due to possible ovarian hyper-stimulation producing large cysts in that condition. It has very little effect on a developing fetus as Clomid is used fro 5 days/cycle and is gone from the system by the time the egg is fertilized and implanted.
