No: Clomid (clomiphene) is used for women who have problems with ovulation; not regularly releasing an egg. Clomid (clomiphene) does increase the risk of twins in these patients but is never indicated to purposely cause multiples is women that ovulate regularly.

Don't do it!: No reasonable person would wish to have any more than one fetus in their womb at a time! by taking unindicated ovulation induction agents you could end up with triplets, quads or even more, some of which may not implant inside your womb and threaten your own life by heterotopic pregnancy. Don't do it!

Not a good idea: Women taking Clomid (clomiphene) for infertility have a 5-10% chance of twins, but this is acceptable because they're taking it for a reason (not getting pregnant on their own). Twins are more high-risk than a single baby - prematurity, short and long-term health problems, more preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, higher chance of c/section. If you don't have difficulty conceiving it's not worth the risk.
