Doctor to evaluate: Rashes and spots are difficult to describe in words. Rash spots may be part of an allergic reaction or an infection. Red to grey patches can be eczema, infection, psoriasis, etc... Bluish, purplish spots are blood spots and would need blood testing right away. Sometimes, spots have unknown causes. A primary care doctor or dermatologist can examine both the rash and the patient to find a treatment.
