A member asked:

I have this pain in the lower region of my stomach just above the naval. it comes and goes but recently it caused bad cramps and a wave of nausea. ?

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper or middle abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, kidneys, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen, especially with symptoms that occur after eating, can be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease.
