Post op incision : When an incision heals, sometimes there will be spreading of the incision due to tension and there may be a whitish or yellow discharge that is fibrinous or proteinaceous discharge associated with healing. It does not necessarily equate with infection or other problems. It does need to be looked at by the surgeon and you should see her or him, as soon as possible.
