Examination needed: There has been viral influenza in Florida. Initial treatment is resting, adequate fluid intake and Tylenol for aches and pains. If symptoms are over several days old, cough is persistent, fevers,chills,sweats, wheezing, chest distress, shortness of breath or copious sputum production, a secondary bacterial infection is likely and antibiotics are recommended. It's best to have her examined,treated.
