Rapid rate: A resting heart rate of 90 is abnormal for a healthy adult. This can occur with fever, overactive thyroid, use of stimulants like caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, anxiety, anemia or cardiac abnormalities. I recommend a thorough examination by a physician who will also order appropriate tests like an EKG as well as blood tests.

Heart Rate: It’s hard to tell without knowing your health history: some of it depends on what your typical heart rate is. How much higher is this than it was before, and has there been an increase in blood pressure too? It sounds as though this represents a rise from normal, but without the other information, it is hard to say - if you could provide more in an additional question, that would be helpful.
