Absorption: Under the tongue tends to be more completely absorbed and faster acting.

The difference: The only difference between the two forms is how your body absorbs the medication. The tablet is absorbed through your stomach after you swallow it while the quick-dissolving form is absorbed through under your tongue almost immediately. However, once they reach the bloodstream, both medications work the same way.

Zyprexa: When used sublingually, it is absorbed very quickly with no breakdown due to stomach acids. When using regular Zyprexa it will take longer to be absorbed with some possible breakdown in stomach.
