Usually no: Most people aspirating small amount of non-corrosive liquid may cough for a while. If your problem was relieved with an inhaler, ambulance is usually not needed. However if you develop more breathing problem and the cough gets worse after a couple of hours, you will need to get checked out for aspiration pneumonia.
