See your doctor: this may indeed be from prednisone, or from some underlying disorder for which you are taking prednisone, or even some infection such as viral (since prednisone suppresses your immune system), for example. Depending on how long you have been taking this and the dose, sudden discontinuation may also be a problem. I urge notifying or seeing your doctor as soon as possible
