Ive prescribed provera 10 mg to delay my period. its a once off prescription because im getting married and have heavy periods. what side effects can i expect? and how severe would they be if its once off and for a short period of time.

Provera use: Provera is a synthetic progesterone that will allow the endometrium to continue to maintain its secretory phase during its use. Once it is completed the endometrium will shed and the period may be slightly heavier than usual. The effects of the medication will terminate at that point with no long term effects.
