A member asked:

Ive got really bad abdominal pain on my right side doctor felt my abdomen and didnt think it was appendacitis what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can recheck: Many things are in the right abdomen: liver, gall bladder, pancreas, small intestine, large intestine, kidney and ureter, abdominal muscles, etc... A follow-up exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out (or may need a scan). Pain in the right upper abdomen, especially with symptoms that occur after eating, may be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease.
