Pectus excavatum: Usually born with this feature, it generally is tolerated well without any respiratory issues. This is followed by the regular MD and referred if after bones grow (usually teenage years) to an experienced thoracic/bone surgeon who can relieve pressure on the lungs if respiratory symptoms or limited lung volume occurs which is very rare.
