I am experiencing sudden flash of lights in the corner right eye this happened after spending some time on the computer working on my schoolwork. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?? Detached retina: While photopsias are quite common and can be associated with some disease processes (e.g. migraine, hypertension), most are benign. However, flashing lights can be a cardinal symptom of an impending retinal detachment. You should get a dilated retinal exam by an ophthalmologist to be sure you are not the one in thirty who has a retinal tear, and avoid the possibility of permanent vision loss.
